It was a full conversion of a large attic into a living area cum office. J. Driscoll Construction did all the conversion work, installed a staircase, did the flooring, installed velux windows and put in insulation.
J. Driscoll Construction had previously done work for other family members and they were very happy with the results.
Yes indeed. I knew what I wanted but if Jamie thought something wasn't right he told me and suggested other options. In fact my only regret from the project is that I did not go with the window type that he suggested which in hindsight would have been the better choice.
Perfect. The project was done on time. Jamie is very precise and a very tidy and clean worker. The sub-contractors that Jamie brought in were also excellent. The project came in on budget and was a good price for such a large conversion. It is probably the largest room in my house now.
My favourite part is the staircase. The insulation is also great for keeping in the heat. J. Driscoll Construction put in additional storage along the sides of the attic and the extra space provided is great. They also floored the eaves on the inside which is terrific. Not everyone will do that for you.
I liked that if there was any problem or issue Jamie went through everything with me and gave me different options for how to proceed.
